Our Commitment
Rogers Surveying typically fields six (6) topographic field crews and two (2) hydrographic field crews daily. We have already increased our output by utilizing (2) Trimble 5602 Robotic Total Stations and we anticipate even more from our newest investment in an R.T.K. base station at Rogers Surveying, here on Richmond Terrace. This base station ties Rogers into the New York Precision/Trimble Network, with base stations from Central New Jersey to Montauk, Long Island. With two Trimble R8 Total Stations and coverage area throughout most of the metropolitan area Rogers is excited about the opportunities ahead. The station has been in operation since July 2006 and used more and more each week. This investment will increase our manpower efficiency and also increase our work capacity annually. Rogers Surveying has provided services as outlined in this RFQ for the US Army Corps of Engineers and Port Authority of New York and New Jersey for the past ten plus years and can continue to provide the manpower requirements to keep all task orders on schedule and within budget.
The “Red Rogers” a geophysical survey vessel continues to better address the growing need for environmental monitoring, accidents, underwater obstructions and site investigation surveys. Rogers has provided topographic and hydrographic emergency services in the past to the US Army Corps of Engineers and will continue to be “on call” for these important encounters. In recent years Rogers has performed vital surveys for the Staten Island Ferry crash, the Exxon-Mobil explosion in Port Mobil and accidental dump of scrap metal in the NY Harbor.
